This Privacy Policy explains how Excellia, LLC ("Lizlis," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and safeguards information in connection with our AI character chat service, websites, mobile apps, and related services (the "Service").
Plain-English summary
We collect account details and usage data to run and improve Lizlis. Your chat content goes to our servers and to third-party AI providers solely to generate responses and for safety. You can request access or deletion. We don’t sell personal data.
1) Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account & Identity Data. Email address, display name, password hash, and optional profile information.
- Content & Metadata. Prompts, chats, images or uploads, characters you create, and related timestamps, device or IP information, language, and basic event logs.
- Usage & Device Data. Interactions, feature use, approximate location (derived from IP), device or browser type, referral URLs, cookies, and similar technologies.
- Payment Data (if applicable). Billing details handled by our processor (for example, Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Support & Communications. Messages you send us (email, in-app forms) and our correspondence.
2) How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service (including authentication, content rendering, and backup);
- Process prompts and generate AI responses;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or policy violations;
- Personalize features (for example, recent chats or language settings);
- Analyze usage to improve performance and reliability;
- Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3) AI/LLM Processing & Model Training
- No model training. We do not use your personal data or chat content to train any machine-learning models.
- Third-party processors. We send your prompts, chats, and necessary metadata to third-party AI providers only to generate responses. We configure available no-training or no-retention settings and contractually require providers not to use your content to train their models. If a provider cannot honor these settings, we will avoid sending personal data or will not use that provider.
4) Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies or local storage for session management, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies via your browser settings; the Service may not function correctly without essential cookies.
5) Sharing Your Information
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers (hosting or CDN, AI model providers, analytics, email delivery, payment processors) under contracts requiring appropriate safeguards;
- Affiliates for operations consistent with this Policy;
- Legal and safety authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety;
- Business transfers (for example, merger or acquisition) where your data may be transferred subject to this Policy.
6) Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes (for example, security or legal compliance). You may request deletion; some logs or backups may persist for a limited period.

- Access, deletion, or portability. You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data.
- Opt-out of marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails.
- Account controls. You may edit profile details and, where available, toggle content retention or training opt-in.
California (CCPA/CPRA) Notice. We disclose the categories of personal information described above for business purposes. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. EEA or UK Data Protection.
- Controller. Excellia, LLC is the controller of personal data processed through the Service.
- Legal bases. We process data based on performance of a contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (security or improvement), consent (where required, such as certain cookies or marketing), and legal obligation.
- International transfers. Where data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we use appropriate safeguards (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses) with our vendors.
- Rights. You have rights to access, erase, restrict, object, and data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Children’s Privacy. The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or higher ages where required by local law). If you believe a child provided data, contact us to delete it.

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
